Ma Long was born in Anshan, Liaoning Province, China in 1988. Ma has won many prestigious titles in Table Tennis, including 23 ITTF World Tour men’s singles events and the Asian Cup 4 times.

Ma was crowned World Junior Champion in 2004 aged 16 and went on to represent his country at the London 2012 Olympic Games, winning the Men’s Team event gold medal and the Rio 2016 Olympic Games where he won gold medals in the Men’s Singles and Men’s Team competitions.  In 2015, Ma Long was crowned World Champion.
