Liu Shiwen is a Chinese national table tennis player who has won 12 ITTF World Tour Women’s Singles awards, 4 Women’s World Cups and 3 Asian Cup titles. She held the World No.1 ranking for nine consecutive months in 2010 from January to September.

Liu is also an excellent doubles player in both the women’s and mixed events and in 2015 she teamed up with Zhu Yuling to take the Women’s Doubles gold medal at the World Championships.
