Chen Meng was born in 1994 and is one of China’s new younger generation of table tennis stars. Her highest achievement at junior level was winning the 2011 World Junior Table Tennis Championships in the Girl’s Singles event.

Chen won Women’s Singles gold at the 2017 Qatar Open, and finished in the runners-up position in the Women’s Singles competition at the 2017 Asian Championships.
