World Rankings Summary: September 2017

The TT World Rankings videos for September 2017 are now online!

Japan’s Yui Hamamoto enjoyed a sharp rise up the rankings ladder, moving up from 44th to 27th position in the women’s rankings list while fellow compatriot Miyu Kato and Korea Republic’s Jeon Jihee also made progress up the table.

Success at the 2017 Bulgarian Open sees Kasumi Ishikawa climb two spots to fifth position. China’s Ding Ning and Germany’s Han Ying remain in first and ninth positions respectively.

Over in the men’s list Jin Ueda has risen 15 places to 28th position, and Brazilian star Hugo Calderano moves up three spots to 26th.

Emmanuel Lebesson and Tomokazu Harimoto have also enjoyed good movement up the table, Timo Boll rises one place to sixth while Fan Zhendong holds on to second position.
